  2. Dr. Manison –

As you know, I spend way too much time hunched over a computer. What can I do for my poor neck & shoulders?

  3. Tammy,

That’s a great question and it’s a complaint I see day in and day out. I recommend you read the blog here on the upper cross fix pattern and once you have a good understanding of the imbalances, we can work to correct them. I’d start with moving my computer up so that the bottom of the screen is eye level…this will prevent you from looking down all the time. Positions that will reduce your cervical lordosis have to be avoided.

  6. Very interesting article. I have gone to chiropractic care after major accidents and now have adopted it as a part of my health maintenance. I would recommend it to anyone suffering from back pain or anyone who is just trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

  7. Hi Doc
My wife and I are in the hunt for a new mattress. Any insight on brands or the best process to find a good mattress for a decent price?

    Thanks
    Dave

  8. Dave,

This is a great question and a great topic for a future blog! I only recommend Sleep Number mattresses…many reasons for this…I have used one for about 10 years myself and my patients who have purchased them get great sleep and reduction in pressure-based pain issues.
