What's New at Columbia Advanced Chiropractic
Welcome to Columbia Advanced Chiropractic, LLC!
Sunday, May 4, 2008, was the Frederick Marathon.
The weather was great and over 5500 participants took to
the course! Dr. Manison was there to help with
those who needed care following the run. From
plantar fascial pain to neck pain, Dr. Manison treated a
whole host of injuries and he had a great time doing so.
He is already looking forward to next year's running of
the Frederick Marathon.
Keep an eye on this page as it is for announcements and for 'what's new.'
We would like to announce that the
new updates to the website have been completed.
There is now a new page specifically about the
Cox flexion/distraction technic as
well as a new newsletter about the amazing
Molecular Fitness system.
In addition, there is a new FAQ page
that will also include medical studies and other topics
of interest.
Please browse through and see the new updates.
It has taken a lot time to get all of this information
together and we hope you like the additions.
Feel free to check out the explanatory pages for Active Release
Techniques (ART) and
Graston Technique.
These pages help to explain a lot about each technique.
Just updated is a page about the Certified
Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (C.C.E.P.) program.
Please read about this valuable
program. The format is similar to the pages
dedicated to Graston
Technique and Active
Release Techniques (ART) There is now an explanatory
page about the Cox Technic to go
along with the informative pages for the other
techniques.
Dr. Manison is proud to announce that he
is now
FULL BODY certified in ART. He is one of only a
few practitioners with such a high level of training in
Maryland and is the only ART licensed provider in
Columbia, Ellicott City, and all of Howard County.
He is very excited to add all that ART has to offer as
it is truly an elite soft tissue assessment and
treatment approach. Although the protocols can be
used for any and all patients, it is important to note
that Active Release is very popular amongst amateur and
professional athletes alike for virtually all
sports...not only for injury treatment, but also for
sports performance enhancement. He will be
re-certifying in June 2008 to keep his training
up-to-date.
We hope everyone is enjoying what the website has to
offer. Please feel free to send us any comments regarding the website or any chiropractic concerns you may have. We are here to help you in any way that we can!
Please continue to keep an eye on the 'Related Sources' link on the bottom of each page. There you will find links to people, events, and organizations that Dr. Manison is involved with.
We should be adding some valuable links to that page soon.
We would like to extend a special 'thank you' to all our patients who have inspired us to keep learning, working, and always trying harder to offer the best quality chiropractic care possible! The greatest compliment anyone can give us is the referral of a family member or friend. We are very grateful to so many of you who not only trust us with helping to restore your health, but also allowing us to help with someone you care about.
