So, what would you think about devices that were shown to have a 65-91% success rate in eliminating pain? Let’s further that by adding that the devices recruit stem cells for tissue regeneration/healing?

I think we’d be able to agree that this would be quite an amazing approach to help people.  Luckily, such devices exist!  They’re so good that Dr. Manison presented data and asked the Maryland Chiropractic Board to approve the two devices under the chiropractic license.  Thankfully, they did.  We are happy to now offer the most advanced and revolutionary way to eliminate pain/inflammation and heal tissue through stem cell recruitment.

temwave and Softwave are here!!!  Where do we begin?  There is a plethora of literature that discusses the benefits of true shockwave therapy for a multitude of neuromusculoskeletal problems.  We’ll keep posting information here on the blog section of the website and other places (social media).

SoftWave unfocused ESWT

The bottom line is that NOTHING has the effect that true shockwave offers.   An immediate, and obvious, effect is cutting inflammation and pain.  The longer, more important effect, is the recruitment of mesenchymal stem cells to the treated area to aid in long-term healing.

So, why does Dr. Manison have two different electrohydraulic extracorporeal shockwave units?  The answer is actually simpler than you may think.  The SoftWave unit is unfocused.  This means that it excels at wound healing and more more superficial, and larger, generalized areas of need.  The StemWave unit is focused.  This allows it to be better for more specific areas of need.  The great thing is that Dr. Manison has both and will use whichever one is better for your particular need.  He is one of only a few doctors in the nation with both units.
